2. Community Shopping Malls: This is a larger version of the Neighbourhood shopping mall because it has a wider range of stores and has a minimum of two anchors. These anchors actually help attract customers and tourists to them. They have a larger grocery store, super drug stores and discount departments for other products of your liking. Community shopping malls sometimes have home improvement stores.
3. Regional Shopping Malls: This shopping place offers general merchandise and services in depth and width. this is obviously much higher than the community shopping mall because this serves a wider range of audiences, most of the time tourists who come from a distance to shop here. Its beauty lies in the products such as clothes, phone accessories, and groceries which are made in their region. A Regional store has a minimum of 40 to 80 stores with a common walkway and packing area connecting various small and significant merchant stores. It has a minimum of 2 anchors, which helps draw tourist attention. It is a typically enclosed mall.
4. Superregional Shopping Malls: This is actually a higher version of Regional Shopping Malls but with a deeper selection of merchants and multilevel stores. This normally has a minimum of 3 anchors, attracting tourists within a range of 5 to 25 miles from the property. And just like the Regional shopping mall it is an enclosed mall.
5. Outlet Shopping Mall: This is a mall which is known for holding a chain of manufacturers who sell their products. In an outlet shopping mall, the manufacturer sells their brands and products at discount prices to the customers. This store makes it cheaper for wholesalers to buy in bulk at discount prices from their trusted sellers. They are not anchored; it is normally a strip configuration, although some are enclosed.
6. Fashion/Specialty Shopping Malls: This is an upscale apparel shop and boutique which caters to customers with high income. This shopping mall is exclusively for people who want to go for high-quality apparel and other fashion accessories like jewellery and so on. They sometimes have a discount store. This shopping mall doesn’t have an anchor although there may be restaurants and other relaxation centres around. The exterior design is usually sophisticated and has rich decor, making it stand out amongst others.
